Scarborough Town Centre Takes the Spotlight in Drake’s Latest Music Video

Drake’s latest music video for his track “No Face” prominently features Scarborough Town Centre, a major shopping mall in Toronto. Released on October 30, 2024, the black-and-white video showcases Drake and his October’s Very Own (OVO) crew inside the mall, highlighting its significance in the local community.

In the video, Drake and over a dozen OVO affiliates, all donning OVO-branded hoodies, are seen both outside and inside the mall. Notably, Drake is filmed hanging out of the passenger seat of a Cadillac Escalade driving through the mall, accompanied by his entourage on all-terrain vehicles. The video also features the recently opened OVO pop-up store within the mall, emphasizing the brand’s connection to the location.

This isn’t the first time Drake has utilized Toronto malls as backdrops for his music videos. In 2017, he filmed the video for “Gyalchester” at Yorkdale Shopping Centre, coinciding with the opening of an OVO store there.

The choice of Scarborough Town Centre for the “No Face” video underscores Drake’s ongoing commitment to highlighting Toronto landmarks in his work, further solidifying his connection to the city.
